Got the bigger size for my 3-year-old to take to preschool since he needed a bag that would fit a full-sized folder daily. He is about average size for his age and I’m glad that I went with the bigger version of the bag for him! It holds his lunchbox, water bottle and much more. The buckle across the chest is perfect for him to be able to carry the bag on his own without it slipping off. Easy to adjust the straps.If you’re on the fence about which size to choose, be sure to consider what your child actually needs to carry in the bag.The quality is fantastic. Love that it has lots of pockets for snacks, masks, extra clothes, etc. I haven’t needed to wash it yet so I can’t comment on how easily or hard it is to clean, but I suspect we will have this backpack for quite a while.The backpack Carrie’s weight evenly and has many compartments for school supplies. It might be a little bit more than other backpacks but I think the companies mission of giving back is another reminder that we can do more. I can afford to pay a little more for better quality, better design and to be part of helping other kids. I also took the opportunity to remind my daughter about giving back and how children like her all over the world lack the basic school supplies they need. This bag gave me a great teaching moment and it will be with my daughter everyday when she starts school and she’s so excited to show it off!Bought this specific backpack for Kindergarten and it fits a folder and everything that’s needed for the day.The glitter is not scratchy and the straps adjust to fit a petite 5 year old. The chest clip seems to be a bit hard to open for a child but that’ll all subside with some practice and use of the clip.The glitter isn’t sealed at all and easily comes right off the backpack. It’s super fine glitter, the impossible to remove stuff-how this is safe for toddlers is beyond me.They bold faced lied on the product description, now I have to mad dash to figure out a new backpack situation the day before school starts.You suck, Bixbee.My daughter loves this backpack.
